I thought that down here in Georgia we made good moonshine, but it seems I’m mistaken. Those folks up in New Hampshire have us beat 40 ways in one.

The idea that McCain is some sort of peace candidate is beyond belief.

I think I need a beer– one of several to try to understand this. This is so illogical.

Hobbit - sorry to hear that your email is bouncing back.

Is this only for the shotgun emails you send? I have gotten at least one or so you sent each of the last couple days.

Is anybody else having trouble with email they send to me bouncing back?

The public, fledged on tv game shows , it’s seduced by cheerful applause and crowd solidarity and so whoever happens to hit the show at the right point gets supported with virtually no thought whatsoever.

The citizenry votes with their befuddled brains soaked in a stew of sucrose……satisfied with simply being part of “something bigger than themselves”.

The bus is without brakes and the War Machine is clearing the way forward

Not sure that people would be as fervent as NeoCons, but the fact that the war is going badly may count for more than the principle of the issue.

It makes perfect sense. At the start of the war there were, what, maybe fifteen or twenty five percent of the population who were “antiwar.” That’s because they really are “antiwar.”

All of this “new majority against the war” are not antiwar per se - they are just antiTHISwar, and only because they are losing. If they saw the US as “kicking wog butt” then they’d be as pro-war as any neocon ever born.

Thus the appeal of the McCainiac who’d really take it up a few notches and Make Us Winners.™

The Republicrats have obtained zombie ray technology from aliens and have installed zombie ray generators in our television sets, transforming 90% of the population into brain-dead zombies controlled by Sean Hannity. Wes, I assumed that on any afternoon that folks in Alabama assumed that New Hampshire-ites should not have the vote.

You let people in New Hampshire vote, and next thing you know, Canadians will be acting like they have a right to vote, too.
