The AP reports that Kennedy "said a lack of attention on the war was feeding public cynicism about government."

The media has dismally failed in reporting the lies politicians continue to tell about this war

In that sense, Kennedy is correct - the level of public cynicism about government is profoundly erroneous.... There continue to exist many Americans who respect people like Kennedy.

I notice the "progressive" press is giving Rep. Patrick Kennedy plenty of digital ink over his whining about the press not showing up to cover him, his new Beatle wig, and his historic vote FOR war.

It seems the serious progressives see Kennedy as some sort of hero, but I'm not sure if it is for criticizing the press, the vintage Beatle wig, his dramatic histrionics, or his reasonable support for continuing the escalating Af-Pak war. I heard his diatribe on C-Span and it was quite a performance, nearly a tantrum.
